Join us for the Mid-Atlantic 99s Spring Section Meeting on April 25–26, hosted by the Delaware Ninety-Nines at the Delaware State University! This event brings together women pilots from across the region for a weekend of camaraderie, learning, and aviation inspiration.
The Delaware 99s are excited to be hosting the Mid-Atlantic Spring Section Meeting at Delaware State
University in Dover, Delaware. You can fly into 33N, Delaware Airpark, there are overnight tie downs available. Please contact 33N by phone 302-735-5519 and leave a message for Brooklyn Quigley between 8:30am and 4:30pm There will be impromptu tours of Delaware State University’s Aviation Department between 2-4:30pm.
If flying in and you need transportation to the hotel, please email Vice Chair, Polly Steenhagen at
pssteenhagen@desu.edu, with approximate arrival time so she can coordinate volunteers for transportation to the hotel. Also if you have any additional questions, please email Polly.
The Saturday morning breakfast, business meeting and luncheon will all be held on the Delaware State
University in the Bank of America Building, room 309. There is ample free car parking next to the building, and it is handicapped accessible.
There is a block of hotel rooms available at Bally’s Dover Casino and Resort at 1131 N. DuPont Hwy Dover, Delaware 19901. Rooms are $189 per room plus tax for a total of $238 per room. The registration bloc is being held for us until April 7, 2025. To book a hotel please call 1-800- 711-5882 and use code GDS991. If you need a handicapped accessible room, just ask for one when you call to book the room with the code.Breakfast is NOT included, so we are serving a Healthy Breakfast Buffet at the meeting location.
Registration is $85. The Friday night all you can eat pizza party is an an additional $15, so you can plan your arrival time as needed. There will be gluten free pizza available!
Our guest speaker for Saturdays luncheon is the talented Erin DeYoung, FAA International Foreign Affairs
Specialist. The catered hot luncheon buffet consists of Lebanese chicken, bbq beef brisket, roasted red bliss potatoes, garden salad, tri colored carrots, broccolini, and confetti cupcakes. We will have unsweetened ice tea and lemonade. The Delaware 99s Chapter looks forward to welcoming you!
